Quest: Deliver the bread

Reward: A birthday cake

Before Arabella will make your cake she will ask you to deliver a loaf of bread to her friend Catherine at the other end of the village. Simply pick up the loaf of bread on the table next to Arabella and turn around. Catherine can be found at next to the large black cooking pot. Talk to Catherine and she will thank you for the loaf. To complete the quest return to Arabella and tell her that you have delivered the bread.

If you talk to Catherine before starting this quest she will ask you go talk to Arabella about the bread.

Quest: Help Arabella bake a cake - primary quest

After delivering the bread for Arabella when you talk to her again she will give you a list of ingredients that she needs to make the cake. These are eggs, milk and flour. Once you have these items you need to put them into the small cooking pot on the table beside her. None of the three ingredients are easy to obtain and the remaining five quests of the game need to be completed before you can get them. Once you have started this quest you are able to take the bucket from the table. You will need the bucket to collect the milk and to fetch the water needed for the Help the blacksmith quest

Eggs: To obtain the eggs complete the Find the escaped chickens.

Flour: To obtain the flour complete the Fix the cart quest and Fix the windmill quest.

Milk: To obtain the milk take the bucket and complete the Small axe quest. Once you are allowed in the animal pen, use the bucket on the cow to get the milk.

Quest: Find the Escaped Chickens

Reward: Some eggs

At the back of Arabella's house you will find Thomas. He looks worried as he has left the garden gate open and eight of Arabella's chickens have escaped. Talk to Thomas and he will ask you to find and return the chickens to him before his mother discovers his mistake. In return for helping Thomas capture the fleeing fowl he will give you some eggs.

Locations of the eight chickens

You can carry a maximum of two chickens at a time. Find them all and return them to Thomas to receive some eggs.

The chicken in the animal pen behind Henry can only be collected by completing the Small Axe Quest.
